Darlene Eliot was born in Canada and grew up in Southern California. When not writing short fiction, she enjoys hiking with her honey near water, Redwoods, or Monterey Cypresses. She is inspired by writers, artists, filmmakers, and composers. She loves Billy Wilder films and the enchantment and dread of Helen Oyeyemi tales. Darlene’s flash fiction frequently explores horror, humor and the sinkholes in between.
